Patriot Pop-Up
What is Patriot Pop-Up?
The Patriot Pop-Up is a special collaboration between Capitol Market and Patriot Guardens, made possible through support from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation. Located at the Capitol Market in Charleston, WV, this pop-up celebrates the creativity and hard work of veteran and military family entrepreneurs while showcasing the vital role farmers markets play in building strong, resilient local food systems.
Patriot Guardens participants will bring a wide variety of products to the market—fresh, locally grown produce, small-batch jams and baked goods, handmade crafts, and other one-of-a-kind items.
Vendors rotate daily, so each visit offers something new to discover at the Patriot Pop-Up. This mini market will run through the end of 2026.

Becoming a Vendor
Interested in joining the Patriot Pop-Up mini market? Vendors must be active participants in the Patriot Guardens program. This means being engaged in workshops and/or participating as a vendor at our monthly on-base farmers market.
As a vendor, you’ll represent Patriot Guardens at Capitol Market, one of Charleston’s premier community spaces. Our program is dedicated to supporting West Virginia’s active military, veterans, and their families by providing hands-on training, mentorship, and resources that help turn ideas into successful business ventures.
The Patriot Pop-Up is more than a market—it’s an opportunity for our participants to showcase their work, connect with new customers, and take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey.
